Welcome to the Senior Awareness & Legacy Foundation Store.
This organization was birthed by a 90 years young woman who through her pain learned how to survive the loss of a husband and to brave the future by educating herself on what Seniors need to know to survive. The old saying "what you don't know can't hurt you, is a myth, the answer is what you don't know can not only hurt you but it can kill you!" For your convenience we have written self-help books to help you organize your personal business and finances while you are in your "sound mind" to eliminate neglect and abuse while you age gracefully and "live with purpose.
We believe all people deserve to be safe.
"Senior Awareness Talks"
Our founder and president: Mother Lucille Spann, is a 90 years young senior who has a keen sense of awareness of things "Seniors" need to know to enable them to grow old gracefully. Having experienced the sudden loss of her husband, she quickly learned how to survive when you are left alone to make life changing decisions during stressful times. Mother Spann is a conference speaker, workshop coordinator and has spoken all over America and in the foreign countries providing tips on how to live and maintain your sanity during difficult times. She is an author of several books and has recently developed a Boot Camp for Seniors. This Boot Camp workshop teaches Seniors survival techniques on how to cope with stress, organize your finances, designate your "WILL", learn new technologies (Texting, E-mail and SKYPE) and to access community resources that are available to help improve the quality of their life. For more information contact our office: Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at (410) 963-6137.
WISDOM by Lucille Spann
You are a woman and have been left alone by choice, or by death. Understand the importance of a "WILL" and how the system works. Be prepared to organize your personal business and put things in order to ensure you age gracefully and "live" with purpose. Learn the resources that are available to assist you in organizing your finances and ensure your family/friends and well wishers are aware of your wishes and desire while you are of "sound mind."
Ladies remember understanding of your desires are very important in an effort to reduce neglect or abuse of the elderly. For Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) says: "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." Therefore make your desires "CLEAR" to all!
